Privacy notice · Effective 1 September 2026
Your aspirations remain yours.
This notice explains how DifferenceMakers handles information submitted through the Founding 100 expression-of-interest form.
What we collect
We collect your name, email address, city, what attracted you to the experiment, and any optional aspiration you choose to share. We also record when you submitted the form and the version of this notice you accepted.
Please do not include confidential, financial, medical or other highly sensitive information.
Why we use it
We use the information to:
- assess interest in a Founding 100 cohort for your city;
- consider your expression of interest;
- contact you about relevant next steps; and
- understand where and how the experiment may develop.
Submitting the form does not guarantee acceptance or create any obligation to participate.
Consent and visibility
We process this expression of interest with your consent. Your submission is not published or shown to other participants. If the experiment later proposes making any part of your aspiration visible, we will ask for separate, specific permission before doing so.
Storage and access
Submissions are stored in the protected cloud database supporting this website. Access is limited to authorized DifferenceMakers administrators who need it to review and manage expressions of interest.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated advertising.
Retention
We retain a submission only for as long as reasonably required to evaluate and operate the relevant cohort, maintain an appropriate record of contact, or meet applicable legal obligations. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent for future contact. Use the contact details in any DifferenceMakers message you receive and identify the email address used for your submission.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
Changes to this notice
If this experiment or its information practices change materially, this notice will be updated and a new effective date shown. Where appropriate, we will seek fresh consent.
